First Aid for Teachers

Teenagers should learn first aid which can be taught as a group class in schools, youth clubs, or a group of friend or even a scheduled course for individuals in a home.

This course is designed for teenagers to learn how to keep themselves safe and to help others in an emergency situation. They will learn what to do in an emergency, practice CPR skills and understand about treatment for common accidents and illnesses – with particular focus on the sort of accidents and emergencies relevant to them.

It is incredibly important that older children and teenagers are equipped with the skills to keep themselves and each other safe. It is at this point that they are exerting their independence and will naturally take risks.
